'Gate to Wisdom' is the Stage 01 of the Isipathana College 5 year Student Facility Enhancement & Image Building project. The Gate to wisdom is also the main entrance to the college which creates a subtle transition from social space to learning space for school users. The gate house and the landscaped forecourt offers a perceptible built cape experience for over 3000-4000 students, whilst meeting the security and safety requirements.

Archt. Thanuja Liyanage

Thanuja started his carrier as a junior architect at Ranjith Alahakoon Associates in 2003. After his graduation from University of Moratuwa in year 2005, he Joined The Design Group five International private limited as an Architect. The 12 year carrier path at DG5 has stretched up to 2017 including his last 5year as a Design Director. He was the Project Architect for 1. 70000sqm Tertiary Education institute for Relocation and Development of Institute of Technology, University of Moratuwa, 2. 75000 sqm Proposed 35 Storey Apartment complex at Ward Place , Colombo 07 3. 125000 sqm Proposed Tertiary care Teaching Hospital project for Kotalawela Defense University at werahera. Further he has worked as a certified Construction Quality Manager [CQM] for US Army Corps of Engineers Middle Eastern Projects during 2010 and 2012. from 2016 to date he leads the Idee Chartered Architects as the Principal Architect. He is also a BIM expert and a Green Consultant at Green Building Council of Sri Lanka.
