Design & Color Awards - 2020
In portraying the language of a tropical modern villa, this design draws inspiration from the notion of simplicity that climaxes at the zenith of complexity. The clear lines of the geometric composition, creates simple flowing spaces that portray the luxurious yet simple lifestyle of the occupants.
The building is oriented on the north-south axis to respond to the tropical climate. The dwelling features a classic u-shaped floor plan that optimizes privacy and promotes ample influx of natural light and cross ventilation.The envelope effectively screens out harsh sunlight and monsoonal winds of the tropical climate. A subdued natural colour palette was used to create a serene ambience throughout the day.
