The project was for a New and Modern Façade Design and Interior Design, for an existing building in Thalawathugoda,for their second clothing showroom, that would serve as a catalyst for Modern trend in Fashion design, and set a new standard in locally owned Clothing Brand Showrooms. The Architect Collaborated with GFLOCK, a locally owned clothing designer brand ,on designing of their new stores, which are planned for several town in Sri Lanka. Thalawathugogais the first in this series.

Archt. Ashan David Algama
Ashan Algama graduated from the City School of Architecture in 2012 and has a Master of Architecture and Env Design from the University Of West England, Bristol. He Obtained His Charter from The SLIA in 2014. He began his architectural Internship at SWPlus Architects in 2006 for a year, after which he was a part of the Team at MICDA Associates with Arch. Channa Daswatte and Murad Ismail for eight years as a junior architect and subsequently as a chartered architect. He is currently part of a leading private architectural firm in Sri Lanka as a project architect. Ashan’s interests in architecture include architectural design, sustainable design, design research, mixed-use, urban design, concept design, and comprehensive planning. His interests span beyond architecture and include the art of opera singing and travelling.
