Lavan’s Studio Apartment

Located in the rundown nook of a housing scheme, this was revamped from its dilapidated state. One single space with activities separated by levels was facilitated by removing inside walls.

The rear-space was cleared to create an Enclosed courtyard; the main source of light/ventilation.An antique window, a sculptural ‘Dam’ (Syzygium caryophyllatum) tree, and a built-in bench with niche lights ensure the sit-out’s coziness. The teal-blue door, ornamental grill-gate and swirling number plate, all add a unique character.route bordering on the landscape’s peripheries brings one back to reality.
