Kalogaha Retreat

The house stands on a 9-perch plot at Thalawathugoda, where the architect has attempted to create several vertical layers of cozy spaces that peacefully blend in with its surrounding. This happens within the process of fulfilling all of requirements in a client’s perspective. Giving the appearance of a contemporary home, yet executed with a lustrous traditional touch, this sub-urban tropical house reflects the designer’s own take on modern Sri Lankan architecture.
